Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Snap AI ("Snap AI", "we", "us") and cover your use of the Snap AI mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The service

Snap AI uses artificial intelligence to edit your photos. You can turn photos into social-media stories with templates, apply one-tap fixes such as skin clean-up, photo restoration, crowd removal and opening closed eyes, try outfits on virtually, and save or share the results.

We may add, change or remove templates and features at any time. An internet connection is required.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Snap AI. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service, and make purchases, with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

4. Your account

Snap AI creates an account for you automatically, tied to your device. You don't need a password or an email address. You're responsible for activity on your device.

If you uninstall the app, reset your device or switch phones, you may lose your Gallery and credit balance. An active Google Play subscription can be restored on a new device signed in with the same Google account.

5. Credits

• Edits use credits. The current cost is shown in the app: 10 credits for a single photo and 20 credits when you combine more than one photo.
• Credits are only deducted after an edit succeeds. If an edit fails, your credits are not used.
• Credits are given with your subscription or bought as one-time top-ups where available. The amount is shown before you pay.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged for money, and are only usable inside Snap AI.
• We may change credit costs or allowances in the future. Changes won't reduce credits you already have.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Premium

Premium is an auto-renewing weekly subscription. It may begin with a short trial, which may be free or cost a small amount. The price, the trial length and what happens after the trial are shown in the app before you confirm.

Automatic renewal

Unless you cancel before the end of the trial or the current billing period, your subscription renews automatically and you are charged the renewal price for the next period.

Who bills you

Purchases are processed by Google Play, under Google Play's terms. In India, some users may be offered payment through Razorpay instead. In every case the payment provider handles your payment details, and we never see your full card or bank information.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings → Manage subscription, or for Google Play purchases in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Premium and your remaining credits until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices. You'll be told in advance, as your payment provider requires, and the new price applies from your next renewal.

7. No refunds

All payments, including trial payments, subscription renewals and credit top-ups, are final and non-refundable.

This doesn't affect any rights you have under applicable consumer law, or any refund that Google Play grants under its own policies. If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us and we'll look into it.

8. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos you upload ("Your Content") and, as far as the law allows, to the images Snap AI creates for you ("Results").

To run the Service, you give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and transmit Your Content and Results, including sending them to our AI providers. You can only use this licence to provide the Service to you. It ends when the content is deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't use your content for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models.

You confirm that you own Your Content, or have the rights and consents needed to use it, including the permission of every person who can be identified in it.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snap AI to create, upload or share content that:

• shows a real person without their consent, or that harasses, bullies, threatens or humiliates anyone;
• is sexually explicit or suggestive, or sexualises anyone who is or appears to be under 18 in any way;
• impersonates someone, or is presented as real to deceive people, including fake news, fraud, false evidence or misleading political content;
• falsely suggests a celebrity or public figure met you, endorsed you or is connected to you. Results from templates like "Meet a Celebrity" are fictional and for personal entertainment only;
• is hateful, violent, illegal, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

You also agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the Service, get around credit or usage limits, or resell the Service. We may block requests, remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

10. AI results

Results are generated automatically by AI and can vary. They may not match the sample images, may contain mistakes, and may sometimes look unrealistic. Results are edited images, not real photographs of events. Please label them honestly when you share them, and check them before relying on them. You are responsible for how you use and share them.

11. Our intellectual property

The Snap AI app, name, logo, templates, sample images, designs and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes under these Terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers our rights to you.

12. Third-party services

Snap AI relies on third-party services, including Google Play, Razorpay, cloud hosting and AI model providers. Your use of them may also be governed by their own terms. We aren't responsible for third-party services we don't control.

13. Termination

You can stop using Snap AI and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we have to for legal reasons. If we stop offering Snap AI completely, we'll give reasonable notice where possible.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Results will meet your expectations.

As far as the law allows, Snap AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not all apply to you.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India, but you keep any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Snap AI after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
